Burke's 45th Week- Fall Visitors

We had a great week full of visitors.

On Wednesday our family friends, Joe and Margaret Lozar came to meet Mr. Burke for the first time and shared dinner with us. Burke took really well to Joe and tugged on his pants until Joe pulled Burke on his lap to snuggle. Margaret is such a natural with Burke as she was a teacher before the couple decided to travel the world in their mobile home. We always enjoy their stories. Most recently they returned from Australia and we were along their route from Manhattan, KS to Louiville for the winter.

Burke is fighting a cough this week.
His pink cheeks didn't stop him from getting a ride in the laundry basket.

On Saturday, The Browns from D.C. came for the day. Ryan and Jen are so good to make an effort to tour the midwest and see family atleast once a year. We had lunch at our house and all the second cousins played together quite well.
 Julia is a cutie pie!
Time to color. Please pass the green crayon.
A quick stop at the park before dinner at the Griers.
Second Cousins: Tessa (9), Burke (10 months), Julia (3 1/2), Jason (1 1/2) and Reid (6).

A cute barrel full of monkeys.

 Burke loves Uncle Mike.
Saturday evening, Dan's Uncle Larry drove up to KC from Wellington so the boys could go to the Chiefs' game on Sunday against the Broncos. It was a beautiful 65 degree day.
