A Tropical Adult Get Away w. Great Friends

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic 

Dan & I traveled down to the Dominican for 5 days, four nights with the Pacey and McGown adults.

It has been 7 years since our group went to Mexico together, pre-kids. It was time!

We relaxed, ate, drank, swam, repeated. It was amazing!

Burke's school project. A Shark Car to race against his classmates.

A tiny bit of snow and we raced out to sled. 

Lainey loves when B does her hair in the bath.

Soccer season. This stud has been nicknamed the "human missile."

He plays hard, loves defense and begs to play more soccer after a game.

Dan is the assistant coach which requires a lot of shoe tying, drink finding, patience building and nose wiping. 

Burke and his best bud Theo watch a movie on a cold Saturday. 

It may be cold, but Dad says it's time to plant so they plant. 

This year we have carrots, beats, butter crunch lettuce, basil, cilantro, tomatoes and peppers.

Oh, and strawberries too! We love to visit our garden each evening.

Lainey likes to go on walks on her new tricycle!

Lainey is a happy and cheesy gal- just talking up a storm. She can clearly communicate her demands. Right now she often says "Walk Away!"
