Burke just might be a tummy sleeper. We repeatedly find him on his belly in the morning.
This weekend he really discovered his tongue. He had us laughing with all his facial expressions & sounds he was making. Needless to say with two new teeth on the bottom and one busy tongue he was a droolin' fool.
Dan and I play catch with Burke rolling the ball back and forth. Burke gets so excited when he "catches" the ball.
This weekend Burke figured out how to roll to his belly and then push up with his arms so that he is sitting up again. He can get up and down, with a little grunting involved along the way.
Saturday afternoon we went to my friend, Rebecca's son, Lawson's first birthday party. He is their lil bug so it was appropriately themed with fun bugs.
Lawon let Burke try out his swing. Nice. We might need one of these things.
Burke met Lawson's neighbor, Lila and he even shared his book with her.
Burke met Ian, mom's friend, Heather's little boy. This time Burke was eyeing someone else's toy he wanted to steal. We don't typically see Burke interact with kids his own age so it was entertaining for the adults too.
The Birthday Boy got a new hat and it was a definite crowd pleaser!
Sunday we went to church. We officially joined the Church of the Resurrection last week. We were announced and greeted very warmly this weekend.
Since Burke is getting more mobile with his rolling I have been using the pack and play to make sure he is safe.
The gates are up! Dan installed the 2nd gate this weekend. Gage is in for a rude awakening as his stairs are no longer his.
