Dan ran his first 10K! It was the Run for Mercy located at the high school just a mile from our house. Burke and I were proudly cheering him on at the finish. He did great!
Burke doesn't mind tummy time as his neck gets stronger.
Burke is a drooler now so he is often sporting a bib. See how he has maneuvered this ring to his mouth. That is pretty par for the course now.
On Saturday, April 30th he surprised me when he was playing on the floor. I looked down and realized he had his left leg up and over and was pulling his shoulder off the ground too. He was on his side. He will be rolling around soon I suppose. I am not sure if I am prepared for a mobile baby.
Croft Boys hanging out
He is jabbering for up to 20 minutes at a time. Here he is telling me to hurry up and get the stroller ready. He loves to go for walks. The bumpier the ride the better. Every time we bounce he squeals with delight and gives us a gummy smile. When he is fussy we just have to step outside and he is immediately calmed. An outside boy for sure.
Since his neck is strong enough we decided to try the exersaucer that Aunt Nicole gave him. As you can see, HE LOVES IT. His legs can touch, but he is not putting weight on them yet. We wedge a stuffed animal behind him for support.
The edge of the kitchen is where Burke keeps me company when I make dinner.
A good nap consists of both arms up in surrender.
