It was SPIRIT WEEK at Burke's Day Care- Canterbury Prep School.
Monday was Hat Day!
(I can't imagine this hat stayed on long.)
Tuesday was Super Hero Day!
(Marvel T-Shirt)
Wednesday was Favorite Sports Team Day
Go Cats!
Oops! We missed our photo for Thursday which was Pajama Day (you can imagine).
Friday was Freaky Friday or Mismatch Day!
We rocked that day. ; )
Bath night with the boys. Dan evidently thinks he also needs to get in the tub to do a thorough clean of Burke. Don't worry he is fully clothed.
We headed to Wichita for the long Labor Day Weekend. Burke toured Nonna and Papa's beautiful garden in his first ride of the umbrella stroller.
We stopped to say hello to Grandma Jean and Richard. We showed them our rolling and sitting up skills.
It was so nice out we enjoyed Nonna and Papa's back deck and garden. Papa Jim has nominated himself to hold the position of lead entertainer. Not only does he make bubbles but he puts the bubble wand in front of a fan to make big bubbles fast. Burke will follow them. Dan will help Burke bust the bubbles with his feet.
Burke loves his Nonna and Papa!
Bubbles continued....
Burke is on the verge of crawling. He loves when we help him walk although he is a long ways away from holding himself up.
Burke visited Grandma Jo and Uncle Rod, who made a special visit to help Grandma Jo get comfortable after she returned home from the hospital.
We returned to KC on Sunday evening and had Monday to catch up on chores. We discovered the spatula is one of Burke's favorite toys. Who knew!?! Maybe he will love to cook someday. Maybe?
Labor Day was such a beautiful day we spent a good portion outside on a blanket soaking up the 75 degree weather. Happy Labor Day to all!
